concert pianist?

You can see from some of the pics from our trip to MI that SKA spent some time at the piano keyboard.  She pounds on our computer keyboards at home like a virtuoso, too!  She makes sure to occasionally to change to CAPS LOCK or adjust the speaker volume…

 

SURPRISE!  Mommy discovered 3 additional teeth hiding in her mouth today.  Even though not all of her front teeth have appeared, she has 2 upper molars & 1 lower molar already through.  Maybe *that’s* partly why she’s had the crankies more than usual recently…that, and her first ear infection L (thanks to bad air on the last plane ride).

 

Sarah Kate has been testing all kinds of things lately: she stretches to see how high she can reach, carries around couch pillows that are as big as she is, and climbs on anything she can get a knee onto.  She’s even jumping!

 

Her language development is amazing to watch, too.  Verbal words: more (mo-ah), up, ball (bah), hat, Daddy, Mama, Nonee, Papa, woof-woof (wuh-wuh), moo & Signed words: airplane, dog, all done, Daddy, head, hear, potty.  She understands things like: bring me ___, that’s Dude’s, be gentle, thank you, brush your teeth, roll the ball.  We’re working on ‘help’ because she’s taken to shrieking when she tries to do something or move something & gets stuck.
